Jinput name space conflict with GWGhost Backdoor

There seem to be a accidental namespace conflict with the Trojan horse GWGhost on the windows dxinput.dll. It seems that one of the characteristics of GWGhost Backdoor is that it creates a file called dxinput.dll in system32. Lazy people seem to copy the .dll to system32 just to aboid settinga a -Djava.library.path. When the user copies the file to system32 it spooks the Microsoft AntiSpiware which believes that a Trojan has entered the building.

I suggest that we could change the name of dxinput.dll to maybe jinput-dxinput.dll to avoid getting stuck in the windows virus, spy ware and “dll hell” .

I see no problem with renaming it, i think it’s badly named anyway. Need to get a feel for what the other users want.

I’m going to suggest that jinput-dxplugin.dll is more accurate though?

Endolf.

jinput-dxplugin.dll sounds great.

Sounds good to me. ANd i agree the original name was bad. And likely my fault…

(Actually, I take that back, i think it was Mike Martaks :stuck_out_tongue: )

Change done and uploaded. I renamed the linux one whilst I was at it.
