Java3D SceneGraph editor

Was looking around for another IDE to do some Java stuff for an unrelated (to Java3D) project when I came across this thing:

A scenegraph editor for Java3D! (hence the subject title)

Its a module for NetBeans in experimental status and can be downloaded for free from the NetBeans website.

http://java3d.netbeans.com/

Maybe I might go back to trying my hand with Java3D work.

Shane

If you advertise that beast here don’t forget to mention that it is not strictly tied to NetBeans but can act standalone as well.

I get the impression you are not impressed with it??

If so could you elaborate as I have yet to try it

(was trying to download Linux 1.4.1 SDK last night from Suns website using GetRight through 56k modem, it didn’t find the EOF flag and was for some reason downloading continuously, got to 94Mb when i checked it :(:frowning: )

No, its fine, but of very limited use I think.

And last time I tried it, it was slow and not too stable.

Very usefull to inspect scenegraphs e.g. loaded from 3DS files and such.
