Java console not working?

I can’t get tools -> Java console to show anything in firefox… This is causing all kinds of debugging difficulties…
Did oracle break even more stuff? :wink:

Works fine for me on Firefox with the default configuration. Although i did have to enable the java console from the java control panel under the advanced tab by checking the show console option.

you could try another browser (Chrome, IE)

if not you might have some how corrupted your java control panel configuration files, reinstalling a jre might help in this case (if it overwrites previous configuration files).
