It should be included in the latest nightly build. All you should need to do is set up LibGDX in your IDE.
Going by your coding experience, I highly recommend getting more experience with Java before trying to use a game engine. LibGDX is quite difficult and confusing to use for a beginner.
What you want is to integrate the gdx-sources.jar, that will give you access to source/javadocs.
I have some information on java i have been using jMonkeyEngine before and some java2d i think this is a bit enough for me.
jMonkeyEngine is nothing like this, neither is Java2D. If you really only have a month of Java experience then you need to study the language more. There is no way you can learn all the programming concepts in one month. You’re just hurting yourself right now by not giving yourself enough time to learn.
I disagree. I’m more positive towards this attitude:
“Just do it. If it shows itself to be too difficult and confusing, go and get more expierence with Java and come back later”
That actually depends on your Java knowledge. If it doesn’t even cover the basics, you will tough times with the simplest things. You won’t be able to follow any tutorials or you won’t be able to understand the answers to your forum posts.
On the other hand, you don’t have to know the whole Java. Just like you said, IF the person knows enough Java to understand what he’s really doing, he’ll just go back and revise his knowledge when he finds something too difficult to comprehend.
But here’s the thing, you won’t know that you didn’t know a particular subject until you try to use it. Just being able to quote a book from your head doesn’t mean you know how to use it. That’s why many of us (well, at least me) had to go back to step 1 several times. That’s when I stopped reading and started to make some projects, whether useful or useless.
Thank you guys for all your reply’s i really appreciate it
My java basic knowledge is really good i have followed TheNewBoston tutorials and TheChernoProject and by the way when i have chosen 1 month or less i meant for libGDX not java ;D
My opinion about video tutorials is that they are good, but not good enough for some concepts. I’d say don’t stop developing games, but at least read Java tutorials from Oracle once (http://docs.oracle.com/javase/tutorial/). It will be worth your time.
