Is there an official JGO Channel?
on freenode, there is an LWJGL, JME channel.
But I was wondering is there a JavaGaming one? I joined a channel #javagaming. but there wasnt really anyone in it.
tried many times … mostly people from #lwjgl in there anyway

So Im guessing not many people on the forum use mIRC.
I think the most people iv seen in the chat channel is 5. :-\
Most of us don’t bother. There is #lwjgl after all. 
I’ve used IRC before but I mostly stay away from it just because it hasn’t really been useful to me. That’s probably the same deal with lots of other people. Still, do you guys think a JGO IRC channel would be useful?
I went on the jgo channel the other week but no one replied so I left after a few minutes.

A few minutes is nooothing on irc. =)
A few minutes are still a few minutes, I realize it might not be enough to get an answer but I was just curious on how active the channel would be. At least we can say that a few minutes here is A LOT more than a few minutes on IRC.

usually you idle in a channel - and IF people are awake and willing you get an answer within seconds - unlike a forum.
I’m on #javagaming, #lwjgl, and #jme, not saying much but hey that’s that.
