Well basically my friend is forcing me to drink half a bottle of vodka. I don’t want to black out or get extremely drunk or hungover. I don’t drink very often.
Any experienced vodka drinkers here? I just want to know whether half a bottle is too much, and if so what’s the maximum safe amount?
yes, don’t do that.
depends on the amount of blood your body contains, … try 1/4 first, if you’re not used to alcohol.
also get at least a triple-filtered, not a “standard” vodka. less fusel oils, less pain next day.
Often it’s not about how much you drink, but the reckless things you do afterwards.

…and depending on the size of the bottle and how big you are half a bottle might just be enough to have you end up in A&E anyway. As an old fart I recommend you don’t do it.

Also keep in mind that vodka (at least for me) has delayed impact. This means you may feel that you can have some shot more, but in reality you already drank one too much :o
The delay is about half an hour for most people.
And how big are the bottles? ;D
if you eat 2 pound of raw fish the delay extends by ^2
Without your ‘friend’ noticing, replace the vodka with another clear colourless liquid and you’re good to go! (so long as the replacement isn’t Petrol…)

If you really want to do it eat a lot before doing it. For a thing like this you can go into a coma or maybe die :persecutioncomplex: :o. My great-grandmother was drinking a glass of scotch every day and now has one hundred years 8), but this would all be in a bang.
Vodka is horrid, tastless stuff. You might as well drink turpentine (don’t do that though). Blegh.
Also, drinking half a bottle of vodka may kill you if you drink it in one gulp. Do not do it.
