What do you think about this?
I’ve heard it’s very funny and now will try the demo version.

I think this kind of game could well be done in Java. Probably you wouldn’t need an 3d API layer…

Found it a few days ago. Played it but there was absolutely nobody online! I also noticed it was extremely laggy, even with no-one else playing.
The game itself is uncannily like one I’m planning for late 2005. Except ours will have the Touch of Chaz upon it

If you want to play an amazing little networked game that is extremely fun, check out http://www.gamedit.com/users/lampster/Web_Installers/install.htm
It is called Altitude and is amazingly addictive.

Cas, want any help? ;D
As it happens I might need a little help with it but as it’s not till later next year there’s a while to wait

Altitude’s dumb exe installer (taking ~1.2 MB to unpack a 14 KB JAR file - why don’t they offer this small JAR file to download, too?) says the game needs Java 1.42 or higher. This is with an installed Java 1.5…
Sigh.
Will try to unpack an older JRE to my machine…
