For anybody wondering why I’m being so harsh in this particular case, well, while m77 was rather rude when his buttons were pushed, he had the right intentions.
CyanPrime’s sole goal was to insult, and given his track record, I felt we’re better off this way. You’re welcome to come back in 2 months.

It’s moderated for a reason.
All his posts are help questions…this was his first “out of character” post. Oh well… 
It really wasn’t the first time, and you could have figured that out by actually reading his older posts…

I don’t notice anything bad either, going through his posts.
I do not think I am the only one being slightly interested in what happended here, and what I’m supposed to think of CyanPrime. I mean, for me it could have been anything, which in my eyes are the worst imaginable situation. Please remember that he posted this himself, in the thought that it was appropiate to see daylight. I don’t think we should censure out completely what happended here.
We can be enlightened and objective, without neccesarily speaking bad about a member.
EDIT: The only thing I see negative in his history, is a post from 2009 that talks about the direction the community was going at the time.
Riven, I would never second guess you, I just didn’t notice anything bad at all about any of his posts in the past. This is why I am agreeing with Cero that he doesn’t have any bad track record at all, just a bunch of OpenGL posts.

The entire point of moderation is to not expose the community to idiotic behavior.
This is your assumption, some people don’t check whether what they write is appropriate, they just want to insult people.

well there is no point in having admins and mods if they can’t do shit without people crying out immediately
