Hi.
The GoSub swing interface has problems when started using GL pipeline. All images pasted in GUI have color channels swapped. Anyone saw that before?
Is it a known bug?
Thanks.
I always get this problem when using swing with the new OGL pipeline. I’m on a ATI Radeon VE card.
A lot of stuff goes green for me. Also a Radeon (FireGL)
Well, i’ve been looking again in bug reports and still found nothing.
Did some of you also got problems of content not following the window, if moved?
ME.
heh, upset? ;D I understand…
Well, I must say that in the new rel candites of beta 3 I had lots of opengl pipeline crashes after a few seconds of executions, not only the channels inverted
Well, now you can try the tiger-rc (Release Candidate), released just today - see if any of those issues have been fixed.
Unfortunately the release notes seem to have been carried over from beta3. But you can search the bug database for the bugreports containing tiger-rc keyword to get an idea of what was fixed in this release.
opelgl won’t even start now… It’ might be the NX-bit since I run both WindowsXP sp2 and an AMD Fx-51:

unfortunatly, the two bugs are still there… channels are still swapped and frame content still does not follow the frame.
Using radeon 9700 on an inspiron 9100.
JDK 1.5 RC is better now on my NVidia Geforce2.
The swing/java2d performance is really bad but at last I can work with my apps.
Many appearance bugs seem to be gone, but I still get a crash into “nvopengl.dll” when the application quits.
You’re lucky I continue to get it as soon as I do something that invalidates a control. Frame included, so even fullscreen apps simply pass out as soon they are resized/switched to full resolution.
