It seems that I am a hacker! never knew i was so 733t :stuck_out_tongue:

I came back to work after a long weekend and refreshed the “Show unread posts since last visit” page.

Is this expected behavior? I have not had this occur before… It gave me a chuckle so I am happy for that :wink:

I was adding board & topic filtering, and I made a typo, causing the PHP not to compile, somehow triggering SMF ‘hacking’ detection, fwiw.

Classic case of a survivalist nutcase that wires his home to a bunch of claymores to fend off those who want his food and guns, but then he trips the wires himself. Let’s hope there are no trip wires like that on JGO ;D

I’m sure the JGO servers are located somewhere in a nuclear bunker in the arctic.

More than enough trip wires in place. To name a few:

  • Start a post with ‘1=1’ and your account will be banned to prevent advanced SQL injections.
  • Make more than 16 hits in rapid succession and the server will terminate the apache service to prevent a dos attack.
  • Connect to port 22 and the server locks down for three hours to prevent bruteforce SSH logins.

Pretty nifty, aint it?

That last one seems pretty easy to trigger…Or is it harder then I think?
