Brief description:
Hyrathus Online is a 3D MMORPG(Massively Multi-Player Online Role-Player Game). It will focus on creating the most dynamic enviorment possible, and try to provide the player with as many activites as possible.

Target aim:
Hyrathus online will be a free MMORPG (f2p), but with Gold Member (small monthly fee charge to support our server) player will have more access to the the game (p2p).

Compensation:
Experience, Success, and a cut of profits, if made.

Technology:
C++: Client
Java: Server
Ogre: 3d Rendering engine

Talent needed:

3D Modeler
Animator
2D Artist
Concept Artist
Composer
Java Programmer
C++ Programmer

*Optional, but recommended
We require someone who knows C++/OGRE well.
*Knowledge of using encryption libraries.
*Knowledge of using WinSock.

Additional Info:
NOTE: We will be starting with C++/OGRE from scratch.

**WE ARE SWITCHING FROM JAVA LWJGL(LIGHT WIGHT JAVA GAMING LIBRARY, A OPENGL BINDING) TO C++/OGRE

**We have a working CVS server, database server, and game test server.

Technical: We are using the 3ds file type

(Works on client + Server)

  • Players can see each other and move around in game.

Battle/Movement System:
