Here are some definitions:
SGS SDK: The thing you downloaded.
directory containing the SGS installation (also called the installation directory): Where you unzipped what you downloaded. The top most directory in that stuff you unzipped.
SGSHOME environment variable: A shell environment variable. This is set differently depending on the operating system you are running under. For windows you use the
“set” command.
These are all very basic, fundamental things any programmer aught to know. if your not an experienced programmer, your probably not going to be able to do much with the SDK, anyway.
