that’s what i’m wondering. I’ve seen several people with a mail address finishing with ‘@dev.java.net’, but how to get such a mail address?
(I’m a registered user but haven’t found any corresponding mailbox.)
I believe those are all Sun employees who in one way or another are responsible for the maintainence of this site.
Actually I just tested it and it appears that registered users have that address forwarded to the address they registered with.
E.g. my login name on java.net is swpalmer and emailing swpalmer at dev.java.net forwarded the message to my personal email address. It just works. Sweet!
Your personal address is used, if you subscribe to project mailing lists. So everyone, who is registered, has such an address.
