I’m just writing a little shooter and now I’m thinking about implementing sounds. But I don’t know how much sound should it be.
I have:
- a plane which flies, fires shots and drops bombs
- enemies which do they same
- explosions resulting from destroyed enemies, crashing bombs,
- additional targets e. g. trucks
I fear theat it would be too much if I implement a sound for each event. So is there a golden rule how much sound should be implemented?
At the moment I think about to leave enginge sounds of enemies and targets. So it would be only sound caused by the player or ammunition.
What do you think?
