HI how do I change the max packet size I can send via command prompt.
Least descriptive question ever.
ok dont worry its for a small secret program im developing, not going to use cmd for it going to code it in possibly c++. NOTE - It definatly does not have anything to do with overloading networks :persecutioncomplex:
whats a packet size? if youmean max command line length, thats limited by the OS unfortunately.
you can see what it is by checking the MAX_PATH macro in VS.
If you want an answer you should describe your problem maybe just a little bit more in detail.
Max packet size allowed in Java, max packet size legal to send throughout the entire system?
I was under the impression that a packet is always 256 bytes?
I KNOW your not trying to DDOS anything, of course.
But if you were, which of course your not, I would tell you that its called distributed denial of service for a reason. One would need at least a couple machines sending as many packets as they can.
But of course thats not what your doing ;).
Ahh but what if I was trying to NOT DDOS but instead DOS, I am totatly not attempting either of them ofcourse. But sending gigantic individual packets to servers to crash them (again definatily not doing that)would be a good exercise. :persecutioncomplex: :persecutioncomplex: :persecutioncomplex: :persecutioncomplex: :persecutioncomplex: :persecutioncomplex: :persecutioncomplex: :persecutioncomplex: :persecutioncomplex: :persecutioncomplex: :persecutioncomplex: :persecutioncomplex: :persecutioncomplex: :persecutioncomplex: :persecutioncomplex: :persecutioncomplex: :persecutioncomplex: :persecutioncomplex: :persecutioncomplex:
