Mouse.setGrabbed(true);
since we are on the subject of mouse cursors what does setNativeCursor do?, i tried to look it up in the documentation but theres nothing there about it, whats the advantage of using it ? and how would u use ?
thx
You can create your own Cursor object and set that as the native cursor. Meaning, you can change the pointer’s graphic to be whatever you want.
However, I’ve never actually used it myself. I got the information from:
http://www.lwjgl.org/javadoc/org/lwjgl/input/Cursor.html
http://www.lwjgl.org/javadoc/org/lwjgl/input/Mouse.html
Thanx Matzon…
that’s what I needed. The mouse has been bothering me for awhile…
There is a hidden gotcha with the native cursors. IIRC older macs can only do 16x16 while windows can do 32 x 32. It’s therefore a touch more reliable just to hide the cursor & draw your own. That also means you can have colours, which aren’t supported by setNativeCursor()
thanx for the info!
