I’ve made a tutorial showing how to triple boot Windows 8.1 Pro, Mavericks and Ubuntu 13.10. Here’s the video.

Text version of the Tutorial

In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to triple boot your hackintosh with the following operating systems.

– Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks
– Windows 8.1 Pro
– Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander

Things you require:

– Existing Mac/Hackintosh/VM
– MyHack application
– Install OS X Mavericks.app (Download from MAS)
– An 8GB or more Flash Drive
– Hackintosh Compatible PC

Process of installation:

– Create USB installer for Mavericks
– Install Mavericks
– Install Windows
– Install Ubuntu
– Set Mavericks partition as Active
– Reinstall Chameleon bootloader
– Install chameleon themes (optional)

– 2.6 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor
– 4 GB 800 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
– NVIDIA GeForce 210 1024 MB
– ASUS P5KPL-AM/PS Mobo
– Seagate 250 GB SATA Harddisk
– HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GH22NS50

This time, it’s in HD and I’ve tried to use screen recorder as much as I can.

Not sure of the legalities, but a set-up and read to be downloaded virtualbox image (Mavericks) would be infinitely more useful IMHO.

It’s illegal to download virtual copies of OS X. That’s why we download it from the mac app store.

Ah. You can see the level of my interest in Apple. I’d always assumed it was the open-source kernel with the “rest” as a clean room re-implementation.
