Hackintosh Dual Boot Tutorial

I’ve made my first video tutorial on how to Dual Boot windows 8 and mountain lion. Here’s the video.

This tutorial shows how to dual boot Windows 8 and Mountain Lion. Sorry for the slow narration, this is my first video tutorial.

Steps:

  1. Insert Niresh Disk to install Mountain Lion
  2. Install Multibeast
  3. Insert Windows 8 Disk to install Windows
  4. Activate windows
  5. Install EasyBCD
  6. Create entry for Mountain Lion

System Requirements:

Hard-Disk: 80 GB+
RAM: 1GB +
CPU: 2.4 GHz
Processor Type: 64 bit

My System specs:

Hard Disk: Seagate 250GB SATA
RAM: Two chips each of Two GB
CPU: Intel Core2Duo 2.67 GHz
Graphics-Card: 1 GB DDR3 NVIDIA GeForce 210

Time-Taken on my PC:

Mountain-Lion:

Boot to Installer: 6 min
Install Mountain-Lion: Appx. 1 hour
First Boot to Desktop: 5 min
Install Multibeast: 4 min

Windows 8:

Boot to installer: 7 min
Install Windows: 28 min
Finalyze screen: 12 min

NOTE: Some motherboards require editing in BIOS. Check google for your model.

Thanks for wanting to help people, but (sorry) the video quality is far from good…
Maybe try to capture as much as possible with software (bandicam for example) next time and switch between camera and software in your video. Well, that’s what I would do. (And clean my monitor, LoL)

Thanks for your reply. I don’t understand what happened to the quality. The source video I uploaded is 720p. It’s 810 MB in size. I generated it with the camera of my laptop and processed it with QuickTime for web. I think it caused the loss.

Uhh, wouldn’t it be better to just use Hypercam or something?

I don’t know how to use a screen recorder to record installation of the operating system.

Do the installation inside a virtual machine.

Can you say how to dual boot in a virtual machine? The point of the video is to do on a physical machine.

Its the same general thing, though. All it does is make a virtual computer basically. So the steps and process would be the same for a virtual machine.
