Grid based collision detection in shmup game

Looks pretty good. It’s impossible to tell how accurate your collision is, but at least you’re getting good speed.

How exactly are you accomplishing it? Grid-based initial check and then a distance check for circles, or what?

Seems to be only grid base because my shoot sometimes pass through enemy.

A distance check for circles (enemies, player) and points (bullets).

In that case it might be a good idea to use a quadtree collision algorithm rather than a grid based one, or allow a circle to exist in multiple grid spaces so that bullets never pass through them.
