There is more and more spam here, if I were moderator I’d give a plentyful of banishments and deletion.
Use the “Report to moderator”-link at the bottom right.
On the bright side at least they arent literally spamming the boards cross posting al lover like thy used to.
If they have to post inappropriate materails, this or “Off Topic” are probably the closest tro being the right place. 
And look on the bright side. Spam means people other then our little community are starting to become aware of our existance

Its alright if a real user does something like that, but in cases like this its simply spam and most likely automated. Threads like this should be simply deleted together with that user account. (Additionally the advertised domains should be added to the badword list.)

That’s a good idea. Something to make sign-up a little more painful for Spam-bots but not too much trouble for real people would be a good idea. Even a really easy Java development trivia question would work. E.g. what is the command use to compile java source files?
yeah I’ve seen that before. mycgiserver (or whatever it was called) made you answer a few JSP questions. I think javaranch does that too =o
