Graveyard Invasion

Hello,

today i want to release my game project named “Graveyard Invasion”!
In this game you have to survive as long as you can against unlimited waves of mobs.
You can find various types of power ups: Damage, Life, Range, Speed…
At the moment there are only 2 different kinds of enemys: the bat and the spider, but i will add more as soon as possible and maybe i’ll add a weapon or a shop system. :wink:

Well i was unable to play it (got a mac), but the game looks solid and fun, so keep up the good work :wink:
What engine did you use? Or did you made it from pure java?

PS: The tree sprite is awesome!

Reminds me of crimsonland… I love these kind of games! It took me a few seconds to realize that shooting is done using the cursor keys… (It would be a good idea to print the controls on the screen, before starting the game).

I survived for 7 nights. (and killed 123 enemies)

I was about to download this and try it out, but the file is way too big for something simple which only has 2 enemies.

I really hate the darkness of the game… At least objects that you can’t walk through… I mean, I can’t see where im walking… I died because i bumped into something…

Other than that, pretty cool game.

I’m not quite sure why didn’t you fix the bug where after on die and start the game again you keep old updates.

Also, on the new feature note, I would suggest to leave 5 second interval for player to collect his goods. It is really annoying to travel to the next level instantly when last bug drops something. Or just make it so that you automatically collect everything on the ground once level ends.

About the brightness, at level 8-9++ or something like that it becomes almost impossible to see which bugs are alive. Dead bugs are a lot more visible than alive once since alive bugs are only properly visible because of their eyes. Either make dead bugs almost invisible, ( I MEAN LITERALLY) or make alive ones more visible. Making collision objects more visible would help also.

Make it possible to play on windowed mode, so people can take screen shots. I tried doing screen shot, but it turns out blank…
Some kind of pause menu with escape button would be also nice.

My highest score after abusing the bug for a few runs is 14 level with 832 kills and level 9 with 257 kills without abusing the bug.

Well i can kinda help. My STS project doesn’t look that bad so i guess i can make some sprites for you :slight_smile:
