I would like to buy some graphic card instead of my old Riva, any recommendations?
I have these cards on the mind.

Great idea. It however could mean no digital camera - no easy textures. (Or no LCD monitor - ouch.)
I even thought about Radeon 9600. How nice are drivers, and how well it works with Asus boards? (I like Nvidia better ^_^)
Basicaly I have need it for high amount of polygons with large textures and 16 lightnings.
Go for nvidia since ATI always have had crappy OpenGL drivers (or at least they used to)-
Hum ATI drivers are a little bit crappy, but there are some unofficial drivers called “omega drivers” which work like a charm !
If you want to buy an ATI, you can easily find an ATI 9800Pro for 200euros (something like $230 I think)… I’ve got one, it works perfectly and it’s damn fast !
