Google can't find my site

One thing I’ve been wondering about since I got my www.gagaplay.com domain is that Google doesn’t find my site, except when you explicitly enter ‘gagaplay’ as search keyword. On other search engines, my site gets ranked pretty high when you enter things like ‘arcade emulator java’ or something, even when you search for ‘pacman’, gagaplay comes up on the first page in search.yahoo.com. Even altavista has no problem finding my site.
Not so in Google. Many pages that link to gagaplay.com turn up, but the site itself is nowhere to be seen.

Does anyone have experience with this? Is there some catch to Google you have to watch out for?

Have you tried submitting your site to google?
They don’t make any promises, but it can’t hurt…

Yes, it’s the first thing I did.
The site is listed in Google, but with keywords other than ‘gagaplay’, Google doesn’t find it.

Do you have meta tags in your home page that give keywords for search engines? That’s the only other thing that I can think of!

One thing that really helps your google ranking is when your website is linked from other websites (preferably with a high google ranking)

There are lots of link sites that link to webgames, maybe you can submit your link to them? (like arcadepod.com etc)
