Github's gameoff - Libgdx's HTML5 Exporter (ONLY) Volunteer Seek

If you have a working setup to export as html5 (eclipse+gwt+libgdx 0.9.6) and free time around 29-30 Nov* please DM me. You just need to import my project, export it to html5, and I’ll do the rest.

It’s for git-gameoff, so if I win you may get some Apple credits too.

*) I’m on tight time now ;D

You might want to clearify your topic title, because it’s way off.

You right, sorry I’m on panic ;D

You two edit your reply’s titles to "Re: " so future replies are properly titled.

Why would you need someone to export your Libgdx game to Javascript? The setup app will create all necessary projects for you. If you don’t do anything to fancy (reflection, GLES 1.x, file writting), you shouldn’t have any problem at all. Just install the Google Web Toolkit in Eclipse, create the projects with the setup ui, and away you go.

as badlogic pointed out, its quite easy to setup to do this. using the included “gdx-setup-ui.jar” which is what I think everyone should be using to ‘start’ their projects anyways. It takes care of a lot of the minor nuances that can easily be avoided.

However, if its very time critical, and for whatever reason you don’t have the time to do the above. I have everything set up and functioning now if you’d need a 1-time export on the given date. I will gladly help do it for you, just let me know. I wasn’t sure what a DM is, so I just am posting here instead

DM - Direct Message. You can click on ReBirth’s name and send him a message.

Ah okay, I’ve always referred to them as PMs for personal message or private message. I’ve never seen/heard them referred to as DMs before now  Thanks for the clarify

I should mention on first post that I have been evolved enough to understand how to use the setup and read tutorials ;D But…

That’s the problem: [forum] [JGO]. I sent a message to you about 2 weeks ago about this.

So yes what I need is what namrog said, do the export to for me. It’s the first time I try to use libgdx’s html5 feature and I dont have another computer*. Sorry I was confused between twitter’s message (DM).

I can at least confirm that it was hard for me to export to HTML5
had to make new projects with the setup tool, put everything from my project in there, export, fix errors, export, try to get it to work
in the end I got it to work, but it was HORRIBLY slow there seem to be MAJOR problems in opera (confirmed by using the gdx html5 tests), so I never tried again

shame since good html 5 games, like the cut the rope html 5 version are very nice, I would like to have that
