GameDoser - The Magic of Tales

Hello guys!

This game is an RPG/Action/Hack’n’Slash project made in Java. There is still much work to do, but I wanted to share my progress with you. :smiley:

Looks good, but those shadows completely ruin it for me; they just look so hideous…

I agree with that. There’s just too much black. I think it’ll look farily better if the outlines are thinner, and maybe not so black. It’s too “harsh” if there is so much black.
Compare it to Castle Crashers, how “softer” it looks.

Looks great, even with those heavy outlines.
One of the best 2d-graphics games I’ve seen here.

Graphically I like the idea with the bullets, but I feel they cover to much of what´s going on on the screen. I don´t know about the rest of you but I really hate dying in a video game and not now what killed me. I really hate it. :slight_smile: Now, I haven´t played it so I don´t know if it´s the case here but it´s something to keep in mind…

Other than that: Looking forward to trying this out. Soon. :slight_smile:

I like how everything in the game sways left and right. However, the thick outlines ruin it for me.
