Game Specific Forums

I have been asked my members of my project how we will converse on project development. Although java.net provides forums to all its projects It seems very few people use them. It would be nice if approved projects could get a sub-forum here.

Then projects would get the added benefit of non-project members reading and possibly contributing to the conversation. What does everyone else think?

This feature is very soon to appear on javagamesfactory.org - you just have to wait until the game upload system is fully finished + working because that’s a bigger priority right now

You’ll need to upload your game’s details on JGF.org, in order to generate the page which hosts the game-specific forum, but that’s probably something you’d want to do anyway.

Afraid to say I don’t agree :/. This forum is for general over and above all games conversation. Its bad enough signal-to-noise wise as it is. A forum for every game that wanted one would make it terrible mess.

JGF might well make more sense in this case, though I think that’d be more aimed at the players of the game rather than development topics.

If you’re setting up a website, setting up a forum is a doddle  If you’re really stuck you could just use the original Lights of Laminos forums at NewDawn.

Thanks Again Kevin… I guess your right, I’m just jealous of the traffic this site gets.
