I meant that the statements implication that the origin and center of the demoscene is in Germany may instill some rancor with sceners from other nations, such as the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, etc…

It’s “german demoscene” as in “the german part of the demoscene”. Like there is a french demoscene and a us demoscene etc. It’s not like the germans invented it or anything like that.
