Do you have any idea where I can get for free a few collections of cute icons for a game?
In an ideal world such collection contains about 50-250 icons in .png format, 32x32 size or more, and looks like this:

You can try deviant art, there are even some animated ones (if it’s a game I assume you would love them to move)

a lot of these images are from existing games, are you sure its legit to use?

It might make you feel awkward to go to the site, but the gamemaker resources page has quite a few with varying licenses:

Finding tons of neat icons is easy. It’s the licensing part that hurts…
I remember Gamemaker! The whole reason I learned java was because I didn’t want to deal with game maker ;D
