Hi everone! We have finally released our first game for Android. Hope you’ll like it)
The game was created with libgdx.

Name: Flying Bob
Genre: fast-paced physic-based arcade
Platform: android 2.2+

Flying Bob is a ball-shaped creature which flies around the world using his rope. Help him to collect as many stars as you can in the given time and reach end of level.

FEATURES:

  • fast-paced physics-based gameplay
  • beautiful graphics
  • different game objects: wheels, mines, cannons, electricity line and other
  • 24 unique levels from easy to challenging

It’s hard today to find a 2D game which not come from libgdx.

Looks very nice, and fun!

The art style sort of reminds me of Angry Birds.

How long did it take you guys to create?

For a technical question, how did you create the level (custom level editor, an existing one, ect)? Did you use box2d/bullet for your physics?

Looks awesome, hope you guys do well! I’ve been thinking of creating a spiderman like game eventually (or at least something with “web slinging”), and it looks like you have captured some of the fun of that!

chrismweb, it took us about 4 months to create this game) I know it could had been done faster but it was our first experience in gamedev and initial game concept had been changing few times during development process. Anyway it was fun)
We used box2d from libgdx package for physics.

Wow, this looks REALLY good.
Great gameplay and nice, polished look.

Can’t wait to play more Levels, keep up that work and it may be quite successful :smiley:

I tried it and found it quite fun.
I would have enjoyed rope swinging being a bit faster, but all in all a nice game :smiley:

Awesome game! Gameplay is smooth and intuitive. However, I have finished it in one day, so some more levels would be nice.
