FengGUI forum?

Hi,

I am wondering whether it might be possible to have a FengGUI forum in the “Java Game APIs” category in the not-so-far future. We are currently working on a new website for FengGUI including a decent bug tracker, SVN, etc… This is about time because FengGUI is now almost two years old and exceeds the stage of a pet-project with three core developers who constantely work on it. The question is whether we will have our own FengGUI forum on our site or if we could get one here on www.java-gaming.org. We take FengGUI serious and are ready to push it on another level.

edit: needles to sayt that two of us will monitor the forum constantly and keep the forum active

Any idea what your the size of your user base is like?

hmm, hard to tell exactly. I receive an increasing number of mails each week about questions and/or comments from which I can derive that there is a number of people who are using FengGUI beyond just running the examples. Among them seem to be a few companies. The web logs show 25 visitors (450 hits) per day for August in average… all together 730 visitors (13,123 hits) for August. That’s okay considering that we have so few stuff to look at on our site. On the other hand, the latest FengGUI.zip has been downloaded only 40 times last month.
