Teaser :
A big collection of traditional board games of all types ; cards, dice, board and pawns. All with unlimited undo/redo, 2D graphics (with cards and background skinning) as well as 3D graphics and physics (for dice, with shadow map, per pixel lighting, normal mapping, distance field coloring).
Try it :
- Free version on Google Play (no in-app, just ads)
- Full version on Google Play (no in-app, pay once, play forever)
Technology :
The game was made using the following resources ;
- Libgdx game engine
- Bullet physics engine
- OpenGameArt, Blendswap, Freesound and OpenClipart as a reference for all graphic and sound assets (all either CC0 or made by myself)
- Usual opensource development and asset pipeline : Ubuntu + Eclipse + Inkscape + Blender + Gimp
My aim with this is to go down the full path from an idea to a finalized game, which happens to be quite difficult for a hobby developper. I already made a first game (challenged myself with a one month project, see this post). This time I took more time and produced, I think, a more polished game. Give it a try and share your thought !
For my next project, I will try to finalize one of the broken prototypes I made along the way.
Thanks,
Vincent
