Euphoria! Digital Molecular Matter!

I regret to say this isn’t Java related at all but it is gaming related and involves some very cool new technology.

If you haven’t seen this yet, go to

And watch the Euphoria Engine Tech Demo, Digital Molecular Matter Tech Demo, and then the Force Power Pre-Vis to see it in a more gameplay like setting.

I had seen some videos on this Euphoria stuff before but this is the first time I’ve really seen it in a game, and it’s very exciting to see this sort of development in new videogames. I love physics powered and otherwise dynamically driven games, makes them so much more interesting to play.

Enjoy

I’d love to know the vertex count on the video/demo with breakable plywood (the one comparing old breaking techniques with this one)…Sure you can simulate it, but is a breakable piece of plywood really worth 10% of your vertex count budget ?

Very cool nonetheless
