Error making context current

I’m trying to run JOGL on Solaris (SunOS 5.9 Generic_117171-05 sun4u sparc SUNW, Sun-Fire-880). When I create a simple JOGL Canvas and add it to a frame and compile, I get this error:

This happens everytime the canvas tries to redraw itself. I am not able to render anything to the canvas. Anyone know what might be causing this?

Have you tried downloading and compiling some of the JOGL demos available at http://jogl-demos.dev.java.net/ ?
