can we have email notification of new replies to our posts plllllleeeeeeeeaaaasseess ;D
First, we already have that (check the [notify] button)
Second, can you FOR ONCE create a topic with more than 1 line in it
Third, you seem to be missing this line in your signature:
boolean: 0 bits
l. the notify buton dose not seam to work
2. the java book i read did not tell me that thank you
No e-mail notification. Sorry.

About the ‘boolean in your signature’ …
You have all primitives wrong, you have the real value minus 1, so I thought I’d give you a hint with that boolean value, not expecting you’d really add it
It’s: 1,8,16,32,64
still wrong, I could bet, boolean’s 8 bit (even if only 1bit is needed)
not wrong
the JVM implementation is independant of the theoretical limit of usable bits on a primitive
JVMs might even use 32 bits for booleans
I tested it once, a boolean took one byte (Sun VM). Probably makes the memory more manageable what with the addresses and large numbers and such.
Yes, that’s true, it is handled as a byte, but IIRC the JVM spec doesn’t enforce this.
I don’t mean to be a pain, but may I ask why not?
might not be a feature in this particular forum software. its not like ChrisM wrote it

Email notification
* New topics per board.
* Single topics.
* Private messages.

This is not the reason…
that is SMF 1.1. this is SMF 1.0.7.
I turned on the notification for private messages (SMF 1.0.7: “Notify by email every time you receive a personal message.”) but it never worked. I do not get a lot of PMs, but if I do, I don’t think I would notice it…
THis forum is part of a forum software? Hard to believe… :’(
Really want email notifications too…
RSS is way better than clogging my inbox.
