I mean no one is hosting the jars, so do I need to host them on my server myself? or is someone hosting them for others to use with jnlp?
I generally host all the jars I need for a project on my server. Relying on third parties is to not disappear, switch versions or move things around on their server seems like asking for trouble. Is there any reason you don’t want to host an extra few hundred kilobytes?
Well with JOGL they host it on their server, so if they get a new version they can put it up and my game would use the new version. I wanted something like that for EasyOgg
I found EasyOgg just too buggy. You might want to look into 3D Sound System.
Its has a tut on how to get started and its not much harder then EasyOgg, but a lot more powerful.
