Congratulations Adam, that’s fantastic news! 8)
It’s great to see how things have taken off since you joined them!

And we’re hiring (see the jobs forum here, or eu.plaync.com). Most of the roles might include PS3 development at some point. I can’t comment on upcoming titles or PS3 strategy, or what the company is developing, or where, or how you develop on PS3, so don’t ask :), but if you’re interested in any of the roles, email ukjobs at plaync.com with your resume and we can talk about specifics in more detail.
Thanks
Credit for this goes to my colleagues in charge of consoles and in charge of strategy. I just work out what we can do with platforms and arrange tech partnerships, they make the strategy decisions and arrange commercial partnerships.
Yes I read that post while I sat here at my boring job and thought ‘what an awesome opportunity’… if only I lived in england and didn’t have a mortgage (and had the uber programming skillz)
Thank you for putting it up, that’s a real help to this community.
By the way, Sony’s got to be the best customer that a games company would want. So you make the game and then you can get it distributed thru Sony’s channels (shops, etc)? Or is there some kind of online store on the PS3?
Cheers,
Keith
Again, I cannot comment on any aspect of PS3. There’s an entire team of Strategy and PR people who have that information, and I’m not one of them.
congratulations!
now get lwjgl ported to that ps3 dev kit
the article didn’t mention, are these games going to be programmed in java?
We are also hiring in Austin (some related to this thread, some not). So, for those in the Austin area or would like to be: http://www.plaync.com/us/jobs/
Java is essential or highly desired for all the current positions in Brighton.
