A month(or two) ago I wrote a .ms3d loader for Xith3D. It was part of a project benchmarking lwjgl, jME, Xith3d, Java3d, and jogl. If xith3d wants a Milkshape3D loader (it supports everything Milkshape3D does except alpha maps) let me know. I don’t have a place to put it, but I have the source and it’s somewhat javadoc’d

Let me clean it up, then I’ll email it too you as a jar with zips and all, along with a tiny test example

I would be very interested to get some more details on benchmarking you did, maybe in different thread though.
