Do you know I'm Black?

why is it that my question isn’t being answered and some other post gets answered when he posted after I did, it can’t be racism?!

forgive the sarcasim, but I am a little frustrated I’ve spent the better half of two hours trying to set up my ide for game developing with know luck…

Im using Netbeans 6.5 I get an error when trying to use the OpenGL tool and in my command prompt can’t run the lwjgl test.
So if anyone could point me to some info or tutorials it would be much appreciated.

seriously - throwing the race card on an online forum is pretty lame >:(
sometimes posts gets answered because your post happens to be in the recent list - or someone with the know how (and willingness) just happens to pass by.

taking it personal, is a sure way to get ignored.

Have you read the Tutorial from lwjgl wiki? There is a Tutorial for Netbeans setup. Maybe this can help you.

cheers

Apologies, I realize that that was a very bad “joke” and that I am dealing with a global community , if I offended anyone by suggesting racism, I offer a heartfelt apology.

I am from Los Angeles , CA and we take those types of jokes with a grain of salt, (its obvious there wasn’t any racism were all blue pixels on the screen)

In the future I will refrain from this type of inappropriate behavior.

Slightly more helpfully, if you can’t get the command line tests to work, exactly what command line are you typing and what error does it produce?

you’re black? thats nice…

I’d hate this new guy to think this forum has no tolerance for poking fun at sensitive topics.

It sure can’t! Of course nobody here knows (or cares) what colour you are… Personally I’m a bit blue… sigh

Should go out and run.

Wow, racism and generalizing an entire city. I’m sure quite a few of the 18 million people in LA would be offended by those kinds of remarks.
But we’re all just pixels, so it means nothing right!

Of course it doesn’t. Besides, everyone in LA is gay.
