If we’re going to throw in the “useful discussion” cards, let me just say this (Although it’s more general, not really specific to just this thread):
It’s miscellaneous for a reason! We’re a community, thus, sometimes silly community posts come up. Us, as a community, should be able to discuss basically anything we want for any reason regardless of it’s association with java gaming. JGO doesn’t just have to be strictly about Java, that’s boring! How will we ever get to know each other more personally if we just have to stick “To business”? Why can’t we just talk about other random things, is that not the entire point of this subforum?
Yes, we’ve had some silly topics in the past that made me cringe, but those really are far and few between. I don’t see how this is any different than almost all the other stuff in this forum.

Some of you have put my words in the way I was thinking them , You see them and you just think god I hate you , then you get to know them and there are those that you dont like , just the personality get on with your life not difficult to do .
I don’t disagree with you. I guess this specific thread (who else hates people for no reason?) irked me a little bit.

Oh, I wasn’t meaning to call you out or anything. I agree with not celebrating prejudice. I guess I’ve just seen a uptrend of people complaining about “this isn’t about java gaming!!” every time someone posts anything non-programming related. But it was more just directed at the whole situation community wide(and beyond this thread), not you. 
Luckily there are no such threads on JGO.

I hate trolls. 'Nuff said.
From my experience people who purposefully try to be mean/rude (aka trolls), are those who are too immature to have fun on the internet but also be respectful to people they come in contact with.
I tend to just try and ignore them.
