Game looks like it might be good though - which, given the addictive nature of D2 is a very very bad sign!
Meh, theyāre gameplay video played through Adobe Flash Player causes FireFox to suck up almost half a gig of memory, causing the whole app. to grind to a halt.
By the time you reach the end of the video, itās stuttering every half-second =(
And this is on a quad core machine with 2gb of ram!
I canāt imagine what itās like a more run-of-the-mill machine!
What Firefox version are you running? The difference between 2 and 3 is noticeable imoā¦ version 2 uses a lot more. Iām running Firefox 3 and I have 2 gig of ram as well but it runs ok till the end here.
Pretty nifty! Iām not sure I like the click-a-thon though.

Though I would have expected the flash plugin to be the culprit of the excessive memory consumption, it isnāt immediately obvious how upgrading to Firefox 3 would rectify such a problem?
Flash is probably the culprit here since the video is pretty high quality (for a flash video), you could use the firefox extension āDownloadHelperā and just use it to download the video and watch it in a desktop media player.

tbh I had given up hope for a diablo 3, I hope it will be as good as the first two versions.
Ah good old diablo. The sshots look very nice. Though thought they wouldnāt get this out till wow was dieing since it would make a large number of there fans stop playing wow to play itā¦

tbh there wasnāt much difference between diablo 1 and 2 online experience wise accept for the latter the characters where actually stored at battle.net to combat cheating.
The graphics sure looked pretty but felt really dreamy, it seems a lot like WoW in many aspects to me, I hope that doesnāt have a negative affect overall.
I am running FireFox 3 and the video still took over a half gig of memory, but I have 4 gigs total so it didnāt stall. Itās just that there are a lot of frames and detail in that video.
It froze my firefox too.
