what “free” c/c++ compilers there are for windows so i can build lwjgl(and compiler that is supported with lwjgl build file)?
or is the current release up to date with cvs version?
so no need to fetch from cvs?

Well, there are a number of free C/C++ compilers for Windows - DJGPP at least used to be the most popular - long time since I looked! However, I believe the LWJGL build system is completely MS Visual Studio. If you don’t have access to that, you’re probably going to have problems. :-/
As for the latest version, there were rumblings about a new release recently… Cas, when’s the next release scheduled?
i managed to get compiled the cvs version to point where it need’s directx for input handling.
i guess it uses dx8, i’m downloading dx9 c/c++ sdk,hopefully there’s no big changes on it.
using dev-cpp(gcc3.2)

It will most likely be released tomorrow evening (CET), this will be version 0.5
Ah yes, the pesky platform specific DirectInput stuff. Wish there was something similar to OpenGL and OpenAL that handled input.
what sdk provides eah.h header for lwjgl compilation?
OpenAl SDK from creative doesn’t,should it?
eax.h you mean? it’s in the EAX sdk from creative (downloaded separately from the OAL sdk). regarding Visual Studio, I believe that lwjgl should be easily compilable with other compilers. All source files in src/native/common is shared with the linux gcc compile, for example.
oh, i typed, yes eax.h.
heh, i have dev-cpp for compiling lwjgl, i was whatching the update/install module list that the program has,
there where Directx9 devpak and here’s the description:
Version: 9.0

Type: Package
heh, it seem’s that more and more user’s are showing the
