It’s one of the most recently announced cryptocurrency on the net, with a 6 days old age.

As far as playing with it, I’m not really interested in utilizing them for monetization. But at least, I learned how to do stuffs that BitCoin miners alike are doing. Better to start learning on the basics just in case BitCoin really becomes the accepted digital currency.

The sites and subsites gave some ‘arguments’ why to use it, but not enough information what it is…

These e-coins are an excellent way to ramp up your electricity bill.

It’s not all fun and games with these projects, they cost hard earned money, giving you something in return that may or may not be worth something to somebody, some day…

I’m just waiting for it to be revealed that these ‘cryptocurrencies’ were being used to crack codes(or encryption methods) or fill rainbow tables. :persecutioncomplex:

What it is: It’s a LTC clone of some sort, like all other cryptocurrencies.

They are practically worthless is what they are.

It is NSA’s attempt to make a massive rainbow database, with any possible string formats.
Just need a bit of carrot, like make the currency exchangeable with RL money and maybe drive the “value” up and You have basically a huge cloud of password crackers.

Then create underground exchanges that get “hacked” and $100M+ disappears.
