Little War Online

Hello guys, we would like to show you our game: Little War Online.

Its a pixel-art mmorpg and its also cross platform (Android, iOS, Desktop, HTML5).
We have developed it 100% in Java using the awesome framework Libgdx.

Its the story about two factions: Draxian and Naru. There are 6 classes you can choose from.
Also there is a ranked arena system, all of this Online!

This looks great! I personally love pixel art and RPGs. Combine both and I’m sold haha
Great lighting effects as well, are you using Box2dLights by any chance?

Very pretty website but watch out cos there are a few typos. The ones I noticed:

I presume that should be “protect his allies” unless I’m missing something.

So maybe it is worth a quick once over? Sorry to be picky it’s just it really is a very pretty website but stuff like that just spoils things (certainly for me).

I saw your game too, it’s a good start!

nice! What about user interface? There is a library do it? (I’m libgdx newbie)

Well, you have Scene2D with Table Layout if it helps. We dont use Table layout https://github.com/libgdx/libgdx/wiki/Tablethat much, what we do use for user interface are actions: https://github.com/libgdx/libgdx/wiki/Scene2d#actionse2d#actions[/url]

The game looks good, I guess I’m going to test it right now…
One thing which I hope you change is that the music reminds me of a certain very popular game… Oh if I could only remember the name. I’m sure it wasn’t Minecraft…
Let’s see if there are other people online right now :smiley:

Don´t knew if one of the devs is looking here but it seems that there is no Forum so I will just add my rants here.
I knew that it´s still Beta!

Since an update I am not able to login with one of my characters - I come to the Character screen but when I want to play it is just cycling. - to create an new Char and login with it is possible.

The XP-curve should be adjusted. I am used to hard games, but the need to kill 20 mobs on level 2 is highly annoying since it takes pretty long. Maybe due to the fact that not much Equip drops at this level and so can´t get stronger/faster kill.
IMHO it should be really fast to level up to ~10 and then let the curve flatten down. Of course depending on the available levels.
Hopefully some stuff like Hotkeys will be updated soon and the Descriptions of the classes too.

The Game itself looks really good, it is really nice to play.
Fast loading times, awesome Graphics, nearly no lag. And the World seems pretty nice structured.

-Will definitely try it again, when it´s released
