Clubie Question About Survivor Game

Your “camera” is obviously looking down on the head of the “avatar”. Did you tranlsate and rotate to this position, then update that position or is this a preset “view” that you set up during init, like glOrtho2D, etc…???

Actually, we used Xith so we didn't worry how it was implemented underneath, we just used a Transform3D on the View. We used Xith, so its all done under the hood. I believe it done by doing the transform each loop (i.e. translate and rotate each time) as opposed to a preset view.

In Xith we tend not to worry to much about the details tho, rotate the view to where you want it and let the scenegraph take over. Fire and forget!
