Thanks to you, there is now a mac version ! woopeeee !!!

You are welcome :wink:

shadows & lighting, day/night cycles, major graphics update !!!

@titoasty

I’m going to install ubuntu in a VM for class. Do you want me to try to compile for linux too?

Ah yes, it would be great ! :slight_smile:

@titoasty

I’ll be installing Ubuntu this sunday (Had to make more backups if in sense anything goes wrong). Did you change any source or is it the previous version?

I didn’t change anything

@titoasty

Very good then. I’ll be sending you a linux binary by the next week (Had some assignments to complete first).

Thanks in advance, no problem and good luck with assignments and compilation ! :slight_smile:

I get a crash under Windows XP 32 bit on the latest build (2013/10/24):

Command Line Output:
http://pastebin.com/y1WbynKF

Relevant part of hs_err_pid.log:
http://pastebin.com/tr7dVCCQ

The error.log just said about the OpenAL device not closed thing which I don’t think is relevant.

Ok the error.log is not relevant, I’ll investigate on the other error.
Is the error systematic ?

I uploaded a new version, removing the BitmapFont causing the crash (but why?!?!) because it was useless.
Tell me if it’s ok now !

Sorry, medal by accident, quew8. (Wasn’t because of the link in the tutorial section, though).

But here you have it :slight_smile: ;D

@titoasty The error was systematic, and still is. I just downloaded the latest version from the link in your initial post (there wasn’t a version number but it was a different file to the previous one) but I just get the exact same crash with the same error.

@matheus23 You think it was by accident but really you wanted to give it to me.

Hmmm I removed all the code relative to this error…
I’ll reupload a new version

Amazing how far you have come, it looks great :smiley:
I still remember the first screenshot, you should add it as comparison how good youre progressing :slight_smile:

Wow! This game, graphically, is amazing! I love the shadows and the players animations are really smooth and look very nice. Keep it up!

@titoasty

I’ve compiled for linux too. Here is the binary. http://www.weebly.com/uploads/2/7/9/6/2796142/libpathfinder.so

And for the final version, I can package the app for the mac with a mac .app and .dmg if you want.

@RobinB @opiop65 Thanks for your words !!! :slight_smile: I will update the presentation to make it more appealing and more verbose about the game.

@SHC thank you so much, you will again be in the credits ! :slight_smile: it’s far far from the final version but I keep your help in my head for a near future.

I will now concentrate on the gameplay mechanisms.
The LAN was functional a few months ago and didn’t change anything sooo in theory it sjould work. I’m gonna test all that part and make it totally playable !

@titoasty

Will you build the jar with the new linux binary? I think we should test it before release. Also to note, that binary is 64 bit one. I don’t know how to compile to 32 bit with gcc on 64 bit ubuntu.
