Certain cards don't like full screen.

Here’s a new one to chew on. Apparently, the ATI Radeon XPress 200m doesn’t like LWJGL full screen mode. In one instance, it just refuses to open in full screen (but works fine for other modes), and in the other instance, it “finally” opens after 2 minutes.

Any reasons why before I do the usual “check your drivers” or profiling?

I don’t have any clues (as usual ;)), but don’t forget to check other OpenGL apps, like the NeHes.

And again, his card was at fault. The NeHe tutorials exhibited the same strange behavior. I will check now with the user who couldn’t run in full screen at all.
