Some interesting hilights from day one:
[] The mass-market thinks nothing of downloading 10Mb games (according to PopCap, Sandlot, etc)
[] The major players are aiming at 20Mb downloads as being fine, but “you’d better have good screenshots [to make sure they don’t give up waiting] if the download is 20Mb”
[] Most interest seems to be in moving towards skill-based gaming (c.f. worldwinner, midasplayer, etc)
[] There is still almost nothing happening in genuinely / non-trivial multiplayer casual games
Well, plus I haven’t gotten the hang of Swing yet. I’m still coding with old AWT events.
