Cannont find main class... Problems with making executble Jars

I’m having troubles with getting my test program using Slick using Eclipse. I try to export the project as a “Executable Jar”, but neither does it give me an error, or indeed do ANYTHING. I then try to Export as a normal Jar and specify which file the Main class is in, it says it doesn’t exist. Here’s a rar with two of the Jar’s created by the above methods. (“solarance_test.jar” was made by the “Executable Jar” while “solarance_test6.jar” was made by the normal “Export Jar”)

Every site I find that talks about making Jar’s say it super easy, but apparently with how Eclipse works, it apparently makes it not easy at all. Can someone please point me in the right direction on how to continue?

Thought I’d try out your test to see how Slick2D works.
Well, built the project in eclipse ( had to substitute resource files ), runs
after setting up the Project properties and getting the right libraries.
Then, export jar. And yes indeed, nothing happens (Java Webstart Launch).
Then go to command line, try to launch from there to get more info.
And here we get this error:
NoClassDefFoundError: org/newdawn/slick/BasicGame.

so I tried to add to classPath both lwjgl natives and slick/lib, but no help so far.
I assume it’s to do with this:
a)how to include the correct libraries in the jar or the folder containing the jar to make a proper standalone/webstarter
or
b)system-> environment variables to just get it running on local

EDITNOTE: export jar does create the jars, not nothing. Usually i get an OK/Fail message to finish off with if there’s errors or warnings in the export.

Check this : Native must be on java.library.path not classpath. then slick might not load lib correctly and a “noclassdeffounderror” will occur.
Anyway why do you choose Slick ? LWJGL isn’t sufficient after all ?

maybe you could unpack the jars, and just place them in your jar, then you dont have to extend anything.
