can Jinput be complied using JDK 1.3?

i am doing a project that some codes can only be successfully complied at JDK 1.3,
but when Jinput complied at JDK 1.3 will come the version error.
so i wanna know if Jinput can be complied by JDK1.3?
and how to fix it.

Probably not.

There isnt much demand for 1.3 Why on earth are you stuck with it?
