can java game do things like HITMAN II game

hi all, :wink:
I’m new and totally considered no experience in Java Gamming or any gamming development. I’m purely heavyweight on commercial business application such as ERP, Accounting and E-commerce stuff.

Recently, the java gamming caught my attention but I am still doubt what java game is.

I'm not a gamer, but I've got impressed by HITMAN II game. Yes, it is competitive to Strike-Counter but no for network game. I played PS II Winning Elevent(soccer game) and truely loving it.  :P

One simple question, can Java Game developement tool alone do the same like that?   :-X

In the long history of computers, only a few generations have been granted the role of defending virtual machines in their hour of maximum danger. Sorry, I thought I’d put a new spin on Kennedy’s Inaugural Address. My real point is that Java technology is not the limiting factor. The limiting factor is those who use it. Instead of asking, “Can Java do this” or “Can Java do that”, we should be looking to prove by demonstration what we as a Java community can do!
